This special edition [LP Super Deluxe] of The Beatles' final album (No. 1 for 8 consecutive weeks in the UK charts, No. 1 for 4 consecutive weeks in the US charts) features Phil Spector's re-production of the vast amount of recordings made simultaneously with the production of the film of the same name.

The deluxe booklet included in the Super Deluxe features a foreword by Paul McCartney, an introduction by Giles Martin, a memoir by Glyn Johns, detailed commentary by Beatles researcher/radio producer Kevin Howlett, and an essay by journalist John Harris exploring the reality of those legendary sessions.

This book includes numerous illustrations in a scrapbook style, with rare, unreleased photos taken by Ethan A. Russell and Linda McCartney, as well as handwritten lyrics, session notes, sketches, letters exchanged by the Beatles members, tape boxes, and unreleased images such as film frames.
