I purchased this set new around 1985.

I bought it because I love history, but I was busy with work at the time and only flipped through it. I kept it on the bookshelf, thinking I would read it someday.
The first photo shows the books on the bookshelf; it's not a case that holds the entire set.

During a move, the books were tied together, leaving marks (on volumes 7 and 8, for example).
There are staples at the top and bottom of the case, and there is rust on the top or bottom of volumes 1, 5, 15, and 16 (as shown in photos 17 and 18).

Although it has been many years, the books are in good condition, except for some of the cases.
The books themselves are also very clean.

The set cost around 50,000 yen.

Please refrain from purchasing this set as a reference book, as it is old.
